Why do you serve on the Keystone Central Foundation Board of Directors?
Institutionalized public education has so many traditionalists instructional practices on top of mandates that must be adhered. I feel very strongly that we, as an interconnected Foundation and District Team, can effectively work within and beyond these constraints by offering our students and employees additional resources that advance forward-thinking educational opportunities and lifelong experiences. For me it is a privilege to be a member on this innovative Team.
What do you love most about the Keystone Central Foundation and/or KCSD?
The programs that offer all students additional opportunities and resources beyond mandated scholastics such as afterschool instruction, summer camps, internships, international programs, and of course scholarship offerings that support students beyond high school graduation!
